Over time, she made a life for herself there. She was there to teach English language classes, but she eventually found herself working at a variety of other jobs to make ends meet. • Access to celebrities. Local luminaries and celebrities are surprisingly approachable everywhere in Beijing. In most popular dive bars, there are any number of people you can meet with a local following if you know where to look. Connections are made this way and they can result in big payoffs.
• Beijing is big, yet small. Beijing is a city of over 12.7 million people, yet you can run into the same people regularly over and over again in neighborhoods all over the city. Amoura Carter did her fair share of exploration of the city as well, finding many quiet, soothing areas to go along with the hustle and bustle of it all.

Amoura Carter - The Three Best Roller Skating Rinks for Adults

Amoura Carter has found herself a roller skating lover ever since she moved back to Charlotte, North Carolina. Carter was a language arts teacher at Ashley Park K-8 school in Charlotte, but will soon begin teaching at Garinger High School She moved from Charlotte when she was in first grade and moved back to start her teaching career. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in English from Davidson College, she learned to love the study of books and literature. Her love for this discipline spills over to her classroom. Another love of hers is roller blading and roller skating. Here are three excellent roller skating rinks for adults in Charlotte:

• Kate’s Skating Center. Located in nearby Indian Trail, Kate’s boasts a retro, fun-for-all roller rink that is perfect for children and adults of all ages. Kate’s has a massive rink, cheap, delicious food, and arcade games. Amoura Carter loves the atmosphere there and the attentive staff.
• Frye’s Roller Rink. Adults and kids alike love to get to Frye’s for their large wooden rink, access to a variety of arcade games, and food for everyone. Amoura Carter tries to get to the rink for open skates whenever possible.
• Starlight Roller Rink. Adults take over this skating rink every Sunday night, but it is also fun for children and families. The rink is adorned with multi-colored lights and a disco ball.

Amoura Carter loves to step out on the rink whenever she can, or take to the streets with her roller blades, which she loves to use regularly around her neighborhood. Roller blading and skating provides her with a fun and relaxing activity.

Carter loves to write her own work and teach children how to put their own thoughts on the page. She is also a voracious reader and she is always learning something new about storytelling and the craft of writing every time she picks up a book.

As a writer herself, she picks up on the moves and decisions that the authors she reads make in order to enrich her own writing and create more ways to teach her students the finer points of getting their stories on the page.
